Where are your products made?

All Products are hand made in Adelaide, Australia, using Australian and imported natural ingredients.

Do your products contain any nasty chemicals?

NO!  Our products contain NO Parabens, Phenol, Phthalates, Petroleum products, Mineral Oil, Alcohol, Menthol, Camphor, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Lead, Synthetic Dyes, Artificial Colours or Flavours.  All of our ingredients are listed on our website (see the heading lip balm ingredients) and on your lip balm tube - no nasties, and no unknowns!  While our products are made using only natural ingredients, because everyone's skin is different, a skin patch test is always advised.  Please discontinue use if irritation occurs.

How do I use my lip balm?

Wind up the stick and apply as much or as little as desired!

Why has my lip balm gone lumpy?

If your lip balm melts, it may become a little lumpy once it re-solidifies.  This is due to one of our main ingredients - Shea Butter.  Put simply, shea butter is made up of different types of fatty acids.  These acids re-solidify at different speeds, causing those pesky little bumps.  Your lip balm will still give you lovely soft lips and a pretty tint.  But still try not to leave your lip balms in a hot car in summer!

How should I store my lip balms?

Out of direct sunlight and at a temperature of 22°C (72°F) or below.

Are your products tested on animals?

NO!  Our products are tested only on humans, not animals.

What is the shelf life of your lip balms?

All of our lip balms are made to order and will last approximately 24 months from the date of purchase if stored correctly.  We do not use any unnatural preservatives in our lip balms, however we do use Vitamin E which is a natural preservative and helps to extend their shelf life.

What do you use to scent your lip balms?

We use essential oils to scent our lip balms.  As there are many sources warning against the use of essential oils during pregnancy, please check with your doctor before using our scented lip balms if you are pregnant.  Also remember all of our lip balms can be purchased without any scent.

What do you use to tint your lip balms?

We use Mica, Titanium Dioxide, and Iron Oxides and Tin Oxide.  These are all naturally occurring minerals and are considered to be safe and non toxic to humans. So no Carmine (a red colour made from scale insects), lead contaminants from colour additives, D&C Red 36, D&C Red Aluminium Lake, or other nasty chemicals which are commonly used to colour lip products.
